SolaX Power offers a way to transmit your meter data directly to us via their online portal Solax Cloud. This applies to all SolaX inverters as well as the Q CELLS HYB-G3.
Preparation
To transmit your meter data to us, you only need the registration number of your system.
The 10-digit registration number or serial number of your Wifi & LAN dongle can be found under the menu item [Device]:
Integration
You simply need to enter the registration number with us. If you have a battery storage system, it will be automatically detected if the battery has a charge level of more than 0% during setup.
It can take up to 30 minutes for Solax to send the first values when establishing the connection β you will need to be patient here. If no data is displayed, please contact support.
If your system does not connect, please check the following:
1. On the Site Page, press Edit:
2. Enable permission for us to see your data:
3. On the Site page, click the gear icon (data permission):
4. Enable "visible to" for clever-PV GmbH
Requirement for Storage Control
In order for us to intelligently control your battery storage upon request, the operating mode must be set to self-consumption; otherwise, it may happen that the control signals are not processed correctly. You can activate this function separately in our app.
Currently supported series: G4 X3 Hybrid and G4 X3 Hybrid Pro series
1. Go to the Remote Settings menu
2. Select the operating mode "Self-consumption", click "OK" and then "Save".
Instructions for 10-Second Update
Introduction
The data transmission between SolaX inverters and the cloud platform is realized by the Pocket Dongle, which uploads the latest data every 5 minutes or immediately if the system has reported an error, to the SolaX Cloud. However, if you use the latest Pocket Dongle, you can set a 10-second data update on SolaX Cloud.
Advantages
Real-time Monitoring
This feature provides you with a better experience by displaying more detailed system changes and monitoring the status of energy flow in the house in real time.
Fast Troubleshooting
If the system encounters faults or data exceptions, you can quickly detect anomalies in the parameters, making it more convenient to fix and locate problems.
Settings
Step 1
Log in to the cloud platform and click on System & Site in the left navigation pane. Then find your location and click the arrow icon shown in the image below to open the interface for the statistics area.
Step 2
Enable the Live Data feature in this interface for the statistics area. Beforehand, you need to check whether your dongle belongs to our latest products: Pocket Wi-Fi 3.0, Wi-Fi + LAN, and Wi-Fi+4G; only these 3 latest dongles support the 10s update. You can distinguish them by their registration numbers, which each start with 'SN'/'SS'/'SM'.
Note: The Wi-Fi 3.0, whose registration number starts with 'SV'/'SR', does not support 10s refresh.
